Mr. Tom Roueche is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in early and growth-stage companies, specifically in the medical device and bio-regenerative technology industries. His extensive knowledge and expertise have played a crucial role in the success of several companies he has worked for.
Before joining Fesarius, Mr. Roueche co-founded BioSET, Inc, where he served as President and CEO for 12 years. During his tenure, he successfully led the company through a series of capital, licensing, clinical, regulatory, and strategic partnering milestones, resulting in the company's sale to Ferring Pharmaceuticals in 2016. At BioSET, he was instrumental in developing bioregenerative synthetic growth factor technology for tissue repair in a host of surgical applications.
Before BioSET, Mr. Roueche established new arthroscopy and interventional cardiology business units for InnerDyne Medical, Inc., a public high growth-stage company until its sale to Tyco Healthcare/Medtronic in 2000. His leadership and strategic vision were crucial in successfully expanding the company's portfolio.
Mr. Roueche also spent 7 years with Orthopedic Technology, Inc., a growth-stage sports medicine company. He ultimately served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing and was instrumental in the company's successful IPO in 1995, multiple acquisitions, strategic partner agreements, and ultimate sale of the company to DePuy, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson Company, in 1997.
