Dr. Brent L. Atkinson brings over 25 years of outstanding leadership experience in developing and commercializing implantable biomaterial medical devices. He has played a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge products such as amnion and decellularized dermis for wound care, Amplex/PreFix for spine and foot/ankle arthrodesis, and PepGen P-15 for dental bone augmentation.

Throughout his career, Dr. Atkinson has led and directed preclinical, clinical, regulatory, and manufacturing programs, successfully commercializing numerous medical devices. In addition, he is a prolific author with 30+ presentations and publications to his credit and 11+ issued patents.

Dr. Atkinson received his Doctorate in Molecular Biology from Columbia University in New York City and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of California, Davis. His exceptional scientific expertise, combined with his remarkable leadership skills, has been an asset to Fesarius Therapeutics and instrumental in driving the development of our innovative medical technologies.
